About us

The cmr-academy.com was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of the German Heart Center Berlin to train doctors in the field of cardiovascular MRI (CMR). Since then more than 1000 participants from all over the world have successfully completed our courses. The modular course system of the cmr-academy offers both beginners and advanced users the opportunity for structured education in CMR. Our courses are carried out by specialists of our clinic, each with many years of experience, as well as guest lecturers from other renowned clinics.

The German Heart Center Berlin has been playing a leading role in the clinical application, research and education in CMR since the first installation of an MRI scanner in 1996. With two state-of-the-art MRI systems, we are examining approximately 3,000 patients each year, covering the entire diagnostic spectrum.

The courses of the cmr-academy are certified by the German Society of Cardiology, the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, the Berlin Medical Association and the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC).
